W. Montague Cobb Institute Cobb Scholars Membership Category
Cobb Scholars: Cobb Scholars membership provides individuals in the field of health disparities research or individuals with interest in minority health as well as those who have interests in health disparities with access to the latest developments and the top researchers in the field. In addition, the Cobb Institute provides members with the opportunity to make a difference in health care through extensive networking and resource development. The Cobb Institute takes those issues that are most important to our members and brings them to the forefront of the public policy debate.
Eligibility: Graduate fellows, clinical residents and fellows, and young faculty and scientists who are within 15 years from the end of their career training are encouraged to join.
Membership Fee: $200.00 per calendar year. Current NMA members receive a preferred rate of $100.00 for the first 12 months and must provide their National Medical Association number below. Membership begins on July 1 of each year.

An online magazine and subscription to the online Journal of Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities (JHRED), which includes scholarly articles of significance to the medical science community in a wide range of disciplines. The JHRED presents research and reports, and serves as the forum for the membership.
Invitation to a Cobb Institute Health Disparities Symposium each year with reduced registration fee.

Opportunity to access and network with national research scholars and leaders.
